Dr. John Glossner is CTO of China-based Huaxia General Processor Technologies and CEO of its US-based subsidiary Optimum Semiconductor Technologies Inc. He is also the President of the Heterogeneous System Architecture Foundation (HSAF) and a Board member and officer of the Wireless Innovation Forum. Prior to joining hxGPT, he co-founded and was EVP & CTO of Sandbridge Technologies which was recognized with a World Economic Forum technology award. Prior to Sandbridge, he managed both technical and business activities in DSP and Broadband Communications at IBM Research, IBM Microelectronics, and Lucent/Motorola’s Starcore. He is a Professor and Director of the Computer Architecture, Heterogeneous Computing, and AI Lab at the University of Science and Technology in Beijing. He received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from TU Delft in the Netherlands, M.S. degrees in E.E. and Eng. Mgt. from NTU, and a B.S.E.E. degree from Penn State. John has more than 120 publications and 40+ issued patents.
